Mary Reed

After retiring from a long career as a historian, I turned to my interest in art, specifically watercolor. Joining the Palouse Water Color Socius provided me with the techniques, support, and friendships that have enriched my life. I find inspiration from the Palouse landscape to the varied scenes of my travels. I paint from an emotional connection with my subjects. My artistic motivation is to increase my skills, challenging myself with new techniques, and continuing my participation and activities in PWS.
