“I have been a watercolor artist for the past ten years. I thoroughly enjoy the many facets watercolor brings to a painting. It is a joy to try new watercolor techniques to make your painting “pop” with colors.
“To achieve painting lights, shadows, and glazes of our landscapes, still life’s and plein air paintings is an exciting journey that gives me great pleasure.
“In the 1970’s I was painting with oil paints. When I was introduced to watercolor by Linda Wallace, a local Moscow artist, I never went back to oils. I took lessons from Linda for about 7 years. I continue to take workshops and have taken from Roberta Tiemann, Elyse Cregar, and Stan Miller. I continue to learn from each painting I complete (good or bad).
“I have lived in Moscow for 42 years. I graduated from the University of Idaho in Education and loved teaching art to my first grade students.
"Art has been a big part of my life and has taken on many different forms of interest in my life. I have been a PWS member for the past seven years."
