Elyse Cregar has been an artist since she first scribbled with crayon on the stucco walls of her family home. In 1995 she was juried in as an Artist Member of the Marblehead Arts Association, Marblehead, Massachusetts. More recently she has studied mural painting techniques at Decorative Painting Workshops in Spokane and Seattle, Washington. She has designed and decorated several Moscow area homes with fantasy images and realistic starry night-glow effects. Her portfolio also includes cat portraits in various media. Her commissioned watercolors and acrylics of private homes decorate many homes on the East Coast of Massachusetts. Elyse is a current member of the Palouse Watercolor Socius.

In 2003 Elyse made her home in Moscow, Idaho where she continues to paint, pour and play with colors in various media.
